Just last month, Las Piedras in Punte del Este, the first international property from the Fasano Luxury Hotels, opened in Uruguay. Spread across a vast 1,185-acre parcel, it gently slopes down towards the ocean and Maldonado riverbed.Located on the southern tip of Uruguay, the luxury resort Fasano Punta Del Este seems almost carved out of the majestic and wild landscape itself.
An intimate grouping of 20 Deluxe Bungalows and 12 Suite Bungalows designed by architect Isay Weinfeld all offer views of the surrounding nature, HD TV, 300 thread count bedding, and a mini-bar.Weinfeld’s 205 newly built residences are a tasteful addition to the incredible landscape, beautiful modern structures that use local stone and rich-hued indigenous woods.
