The 2009 Reebok x Basquiat CollectionIn honor of the late Jean-Michel Basquiat, the Neo-expressionist New York street painter who became successful in the 1980s, Reebok has released two new 'tribute' kicks for their Fall collection.The Fall "Basquiat" 2009 Reebok Collection consists of two models, the Ex-O-Fit-Hi & Freestyle Hi and has the artists' imagery from two of his paintings; Untitled (sometimes called Crown or Beatbop), 1983 and Pegasus, 1987.above: the late Jean-Michel Basquiat in his studio, 1985 (ironically shoeless).
